Description de l'offre d'emploi

The Climate Dividends Initiative

Climate dividends is a non-profit co-founded by Ademe, Mirova, Team for the Planet, Sweep, 2050 and Fondation Kanopée Partage and chaired by Brune Poirson.

Our global mission is to accelerate the financing of the environmental transition and firstly to steer investment in climate solutions contributing to global carbon neutrality, through the use and promotion of Climate Dividends.

Climate Dividends are extra-financial information corresponding to the positive climate impact of a company (measured by avoided or removed emissions) that can be claimed by their equity shareholders.
👉1 tonne of CO₂e avoided or removed by the company’s activity > 1 Climate Dividend distributed to the shareholder.

Our ambition is to make Climate Dividends one of the main mechanisms used by international institutions and organisations to set rules, incentives and targets to guide and direct finance towards climate solutions and global carbon neutrality.

Our operational team is made up of 3 people (Laura Beaulier, CEO ;  Simon Deschamps, technical director; Diane de Beaudrap, development director), supported by very dedicated people (the board of directors, the representatives of the founding members, members of the technical committees and 4 volunteers).

After 2 years of successful pilot phase, our main priority is now to scale and to increase market adoption. We are looking for a new Operations Director to support this growth and accompany our growing community of users.

Your mission

  • Ensure a smooth completion of the Climate Dividends process by the users

    • Project management: Your role is, in close collaboration with the technical director, to make sure that our users (corporates and funds) complete the process to issue Climate Dividends in due time and with the smoothest experience possible.
→ this requires to be very familiar with the Climate Dividends process and implies a basic understanding of the technical topics (carbon footprint, avoided/removed emissions, capital structures…).

    • Customer success: you are also here to ensure the overall satisfaction of the users by understanding their expectations and making sure they meet them (more info on the use cases).
→ This can imply helping on a variety of topics: onboarding investors and diving into the financial use case, preparing specific communication material for a particular stakeholder…etc.

    • Account management: ensure that customers renew every year (and potentially extend the scope of activities that they value with Climate Dividends) and make them ambassadors of Climate Dividends (so that they help us to embark other companies)

  • Develop and improve our processes and tools

    • Maintain and improve current tools and ways of working - Google Suite, Notion, Webflow, Google analytics and Google Tag Manager, Hubspot, Make scenarios, Gitbook…etc.

    • Design and implement new processes and propose organisations to improve the team efficiency and make it easier to scale the initiative (sales, operations, customer success, communication…)

    • Bonus (depending on profile): In close collaboration with the technical director and potential external freelance, develop a dedicated Climate Dividends platform to track issuance and distribution

  • Contribute to the overall development of the initiative: since we are a small team and a recent initiative, like everyone in the team you will:

    • Participate in strategic reflection: technical topics (public consultation preparation and analysis), development strategy, financial use case…

    • Occasionally represent Climate Dividends during events

  • Other (depending on profile) : Contribute to general communication (monthly newsletter, linkedin, website on webflow)
